Sonakshi Sinha and Armaan Malik indulge in a war of words on Twitter. Here’s why

Actress Sonakshi Sinha has a melodious voice which is working to her advantage as after crooning some of her tracks, the actress is all set to perform with Canadian singer Justin Bieber, when the latter will be performing in India. Yes, it’s indeed going to be feather in her hat as she will earn worldwide recognition as a singer. But, clearly, this hasn’t impressed the professional singers of Bollywood.

Singer Kailash Kher expressed his displeasure on the same while speaking to a news agency by saying, “I read somewhere that a Canadian singer Justin Bieber is coming to India, and actress Sonakshi will perform at the gig. The news was cute, but quite a lie. It doesn’t give a good message internationally. They (people from other countries) will think that Sonakshi must be a big singer in India. And then she will get concert offers from Canada, and then probably Sonakshi will laugh them off saying ‘I am not a singer but an actor’.” Post this, singer Armaan Malik too voiced his opinion on the matter by tweeting, “Agree with @Kailashkher sir! Actors are actors & singers are singers. Leave the stage & mic to us, that’s our playground not yours. ?”

Not the one to take it lightly, Sonakshi gave it back with a reply as she tweeted:

This further started a Twitter war between the two as Armaan thought she mistook him for his brother Amaal whereas Sonakshi said she clearly remembers that the duo had met her at an event, asking her to sing for them. The two denied the same. Have a look at their tweets below:
