SRK, Salman and Akshay make it to the highest paid actors list of 2017

The list of highest paid actors of 2017 curated by Forbes is out now and much to our delight, three superstars of Bollywood have made it to that list. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are one of the top 10 highest paid actors of this year. As per reports, Shah Rukh Khan’s holds the eighth position while Salman Khan is on ninth and Akshay Kumar is on the tenth position.

Forbes reveals that SRK is right next to Tom Cruise with total earning of last year being $38 million (Rs 243.50 crore) approximately. Shah Rukh Khan featured in ‘Dear Zindagi’ and ‘Raees’. On the ninth position we have Salman whose total earning was $37 million (Rs 237 crore). His ‘Sultan’ managed to earn well at the box office. Akshay Kumar who featured in films like ‘Rustom’ and ‘Housefull 3’ earned approximately $35.5 million (Rs 227.5 crore). This list is based on the income that was made between June 1, 2016, and June 1, 2017. Of course, the brand endorsements and other investments too add up to the earning. These three stars have managed to beat Hollywood biggies like Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Anniston and many others. But it is ironic to see that none of the Bollywood actresses have made it to this list of top 30 highest paid actresses and actors. Not even Priyanka Chopra who has comfortably made her base in international cinema as well. Deepika too had made her international debut this year, in the movie ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’, but she too fails to be a part of the list.

Talking about Shah Rukh Khan, he would be next seen Aanand L. Rai’s next wherein he would be playing a dwarf. Salman Khan has his ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ making it to the theatres in December, while Akshay is currently basking in the success of ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’, and has a series of films lined up for release.
