30 years of Khanayak: Sanjay Dutt receives a prompt correction from Subhash Ghai for THIS reason

Sanjay Dutt is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. He has a career spanning over four decades in the Hindi cinema. The actor plays one of the most iconic roles in the movie Khalnayak. Apart from Sanjay, the movie also starred Jackie Shroff and Madhuri Dixit. The actor shared a video with BTS and clips from the movie. After this, director Subhash Ghai corrects an important fact about the movie’s release.

Sanjay Dutt is grateful as Khalnayak marks a 30-year milestone

On Thursday, June 15, Sanjay Dutt took to his social media to share a very nostalgic video which featured glimpses of BTS of Khalnayak. Mainly he thanked the director of the movie Subhash Ghai. 

Expressing his gratitude, Sanjay wrote, “I want to congratulate Subhashji one of the greatest directors of the Indian screen, Jackie dada for being the perfect Ram and Madhuri for being Ganga, and the entire cast and crew of #Khalnayak, I am grateful and proud to be a part of such an iconic film, and cherish every moment of it. 30 years and yet it looks like a film made yesterday, thank you Subhashji and Mukta Arts from making this film and me being a part of it, thank you once again. And thank you to all the fans whose love has made Khalnayak a classic. #30YearsOfKhalnayak @subhashghai1 @apnabhidu @madhuridixitnene”

In the movie Khalnayak, Sanjay Dutt plays the villain. The story revolves around the escape and attempted capture of a criminal Ballu played by Sanjay. 

Subhash Ghai corrects Sanjay Dutt

It says on the all-knowing Google that Khalnayak released on 15 June 2023.

But, it isn’t the right information. Director Subhash Ghai clarified this by taking it to his Twitter. Correcting the information in a teasing way, he wrote, “Mukta art’s evergreen #KHALNAYAK was released world over on 6th august 1993 – not on 15 June as mentioned at Google. N pl wait n watch for a surprise on 6 th august 2023 celebrating 30th year of #KHALNAYAK.”

As Subhash Ghai wrote in his tweet that a surprise awaits on August 6. Fans are eagerly waiting for the news of a sequel. But, only time will tell.

The actor was last seen in the movie Shamshera alongside Ranbir Kapoor. Sanjay Dutt is also starring in the pan-India film KD Devil, alongside Dhruva Sarja, V Ravichandra, and Shilpa Shetty Kundra. In addition to his lineup of movies, he also has Binoy Gandhi’s Ghudchadi in the pipeline.
