About Border 2

In addition to his surprise visit, Sunny also met the family of Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon. He was a Param Vir Chakra awardee whose bravery is depicted in Border 2, featuring Diljit Dosanjh. The film was directed and co-written by Anurag Singh. Border 2 is a sequel to the acclaimed 1997 war film Border, directed by J.P. Dutta. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta under T-Series Films and J.P. Films banners, the movie elevates the scale of the original. It presents a multi-front war narrative involving the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy.

In the film, Sunny Deol reprises his role as Lt. Col. Fateh Singh Kaler. He is a commanding officer and mentor to a group of young soldiers played by Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The movie also features pivotal roles by Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana.
