Trisha Krishnan and Thalapathy Vijay have recently been making headlines after they were seen arriving together at a wedding reception in Chennai. Shortly afterwards, Trisha was spotted at the Chennai airport for the first time since the event, where she was approached with several questions regarding Vijay. However, the actress remained composed and chose not to respond to the queries.

The Press Trust of India shared a video of Trisha Krishnan arriving at the Chennai airport with a handbag. Dressed in a white T-shirt, black pants, and a denim jacket, the actor kept her sunglasses on as she made her way inside. Reporters present at the spot soon began asking her questions about Vijay, with one of them specifically mentioning the controversy that followed their joint appearance at a wedding reception. However, Trisha remained composed and walked past without responding to the queries. The questions continued until she entered the airport along with her staff. The video has since been gaining traction on social media.

Earlier this month, Vijay and Trisha Krishnan drew attention when they appeared together at the wedding reception of Kalpathi Suresh’s son. The duo twinned in cream and gold outfits. Their appearance came shortly after reports that Vijay’s wife, Sangeeta Sornalingam, had filed for divorce. She has reportedly cited infidelity in her petition, alleging that he was involved with an unnamed actress. Following the reports, several individuals—from director R. Parthiban to Vijay’s bodyguard—shared their views on the matter, while the actor’s friend Sriman even supported a theory suggesting that Vijay and Trisha might simply be friends.

Vijay Thalapathy Addresses Divorce Rumours At TVK’s Rally

While Vijay did not comment on Trisha Krishnan, he addressed the divorce rumours during a rally of his political party, TVK. He said, “Some issues are running around in the recent past, aren’t they? I see all of you busy fighting those allegations and getting hurt in the process. In fact, I get hurt when I see you get hurt. I will take care of all that. Let’s get involved in people’s problems. Don’t get hurt about that problem – it’s not worth bothering about. Be confident. Only good things will happen.” Sangeeta Sornalingam revealed in her petition that Vijay had been emotionally distant since 2021.

This comes as Vijay prepares to contest the Tamil Nadu elections through his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. The actor has recently faced a series of challenges, including a tragic stampede at one of his rallies in Karur last year. Additionally, his latest film, Jana Nayagan, which was slated for a Pongal release, is currently held up at the Central Board of Film Certification for certification.
