Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide Case: CBI registers an FIR against the actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had registered an FIR in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s case on Thursday. The agency had received a request for the same from the Central Government post which the FIR was filed. The FIR is reportedly filed against Rhea Chakraborty and some of her family members.

According to a report by Republic world, the FIR is filed against Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, Shruti Modi, and others. The agency has been in touch with the Bihar Police who were the first to register the FIR is Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. This development has come a day after the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued a notification.

The CBI FIR says, “The investigation of FIR No. 241/2020 dated 25.07.2020 registered u/s 341, 342, 380, 406, 420, 306, 506, 120B IPC, PS- Rajiv Nagar, District-Patna, related to death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been transferred to Central Bureau of Investigation for investigation.”

It further states, “A regular case is therefore registered u/s 341, 342, 380, 406, 420, 306, 506, 120B IPC against (1) Rhea Chakarborty and her family members (2) Shri Indarjit Chakarborty, (3) Smt. Sandhya Chakraborty, (4) Sh. Showik Chakraborty, (5) Sh Samuel Miranda, and (6 ) Mrs Shruti Modi and others.”
