Sushant Singh Rajput's 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' gets tax-free in UP

The inspirational journey of Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is certainly winning hearts with the movie ‘M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story‘ which released on Friday. It’s just been a day after the release starring Sushant Singh Rajput, and here’s a big good news. The movie has been declared tax-free in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

This is not the first time, as earlier, this Neeraj Pandey directorial was declared tax-free in Jharkhand which is the home state of cricketer Dhoni. This was done a few days prior to the film’s release.

Talking about the same, producer Arun Pandey said in a statement, “We are extremely thrilled and thankful to the government of Uttar Pradesh and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for giving the film tax-free status. It is an overwhelming feeling to be seeing this biopic of Mahi’s life getting such recognition.” [sic]

‘M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ also stars Anupam Kher, Kiara Advani, Disha Patani and Bhumika Chawla in pivotal roles.
