Tabu turned down Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’

Film maker Zoya Akhtar’s next ‘Dil Dhadaken Do’, is about a Punjabi dysfunctional family, that has Ranveer Singh playing a sauve guy in it. Its being said that after this movie his image in the public eye will go a drastic change. The other star-cast compromises of Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar.

As per sources, Zoya Akhtar was keen to offer Tabu a stellar role in her film ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. But it seems that way back in October 2013, Tabu had politely declined the part. Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit Nene were also approached for the role. Tabu is too still very much a part of the consideration.

Well we shall wait for Zoya to tell us who her final choice for the role is.
