Toilet – Ek Prem Katha: The 2017 movie that inspired Bill Gates!

Bill Gates is not just the brain behind the biggest giants Microsoft, but is also an inspiring personality influencing lives all around. Not many know but Gates is a very active social cause activist in India too with various programs of his running here to better lives. So when he tweeted last night about his list of the things that inspired him in the year 2017, we were intrigued.

Now you ask why. Because the tweet mentioned a Bollywood movie, one which garnered accolades and moolah alike. We are talking about Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer ‘Toilet – EK Prem Katha’, which seems to have inspired Gates a lot. Well, this will surely make the day of the cast and crew of the movie. ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ won many awards at Zee Cine Awards 2018, which took place last night. The movie won the awards for Best Film (Viewer’s Choice) and Extraordinary Impact.
