Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt Tamma Tamma Again

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are all set to recreate the iconic number ‘Tamma Tamma’ in their upcoming film, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and as a special gesture, the two will be showing the song to Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit Nene.

‘Tamma Tamma’ was originally composed by Bappi Lahiri for the film ‘Thanedaar’ (1990), and featured Sanju and Madhuri.

The recreated version, titled ‘Tamma Tamma Again’ was already showed to Madhuri last night, and now the couple will show the video to Sanjay. (Also Read: Oops! Varun Dhawan gets caught by the Grammar Police)

Says a source close from the production team, “Both Alia and Varun were excited about the idea of meeting Sanju and Madhuri. Varun has grown up watching Sanju on the sets of his dad David Dhawan’s films. Dutt had done a cameo in Rohit Dhawan’s debut film ‘Desi Boyz’, while Mads had done the item song ‘Makhna’ in David’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. Alia, too, has a emotional connect with Sanju Baba as her father Mahesh Bhatt has been a mentor of sorts to him.”

Let’s wait and see how Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit react to the new version.
