Sam Bahadur Teaser: Vicky Kaushal plays Sam Manekshaw with utmost conviction, Fatima Sana Shaikh shines as Indira Gandhi

Vicky Kaushal is all set to feature in the story of a real-life brave heart Sam Manekshaw. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Sam Bahadur is one of the most highly anticipated biopics of the year.  After sharing several glimpse from shoot, and revealing Vicky’s looks, the makers have finally presented us the teaser today and it looks every bit promising.

The teaser begins with Vicky Kaushal as field marshal Sam Manekshaw who from the word go lives up to the tag Army is his life. He mouths motivating words preparing soldiers to fight the 1971 with valour. The teaser further sheds light on politics that take place in the system and how Sam does not succumb to the pressure. We also witness a glimpse Sanya Malhotra as his wife motivating him that army is his calling. Vicky as Sam looks every bit promising in each frame. Apart from him, its Fatima Sana Shaikh and then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who steals the show. Have a look at the captivating teaser:

For those unversed, Sam Bahadur’s teaser will also be screened at the biggest event i.e. India Vs Pakistan match on 14th October.

About Sam Bahadur

This biography is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. He was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the biographical drama will also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanya Malhotra in pivotal roles. It will release on 1st December, 2023.

For the uninitiated, Vicky’s upcoming movie will clash with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.

Vicky Kaushal undoubtedly does intense roles with utmost conviction and Sam Bahadur is another feather to his glorious hat. Seeing his as Sam Manekshaw will surely be a treat and we just can’t wait for its trailer and release already.
