Why did Salman Khan ditch ‘Shahid Kapoor’?

Like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan too had watched the movie ‘Shahid Kapoor’ with his family and friends, and loved the concept so much that he decided to market it but it could not happen.

As per sources,Salman Khan had promised the maker Hansal Mehta that he will be present for the press meet of the movie and also present it to the media. But Sallu could not keep his promise as he had to allegedly shoot for his movie ‘Azaad’.
Well it seems that the Dabangg Khan had to let go of this as he decided to give his work commitments more preference.
