The movie Ek Villain Returns has remained steady in terms of box office collections on the second Friday. After a decent first week run at the box office, the film has successfully entered the second week. Despite a low score for the start of the second week, the Mohit Suri directorial is expected make a good collection during the weekend. The film starring Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria was released in theatres on last Friday, July 29.

A Box Office India report said that Ek Villain Returns has made collections of 1.50 crore nett on the second Friday. As per the report, the Mohit Suri directorial has shown a decent hold on the day 8 of the release. The report mentioned how there is a minimal drop from the Thursday collections, which gives the film a decent second week business with good growth on second Saturday. In total, the movie crossed the 30 crore mark in the first week. And, with the second Friday collections, the Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham film has collected 32.50 crore nett.

According to the report, the movie “showed a decent hold on its second Friday as it collected in the 1.50 crore nett. There is a minimal drop from Thursday which means there should some decent second week business for the film as long as the growth comes on the second Saturday.

Day 1- Friday – 6,75,00,000 apprx

Day 2- Saturday – 7,00,00,000 apprx

Day 3- Sunday – 8,25,00,000 apprx

Day 4- Monday – 2,85,00,000 apprx

Day 5- Tuesday – 2,50,00,000 apprx

Day 6- Wednesday – 2,00,00,000 apprx

Day 7-Thursday – 1,75,00,000 apprx

FIRST WEEK – 31,10,00,000 apprx

Day 8-Friday – 1,50,00,000 apprx

TOTAL – 32,60,00,000 apprx

As per the report further, “The overall collections of the film are around 32.50 crore nett and if the film could get to 45-50 crore nett from here it will be pretty decent but it will need some business post the big Raksha Bandhan releases on Thursday.”
