In her first public comments about the case, Aditi expressed her need for time to process the situation and emphasised her private nature. She shared a message of support for others facing similar struggles, encouraging them to find strength and seek family support, while also recommending meditation as a helpful tool. “Honestly, it takes a lot of time to get out from some situations and decisions,” Aditi said. She also shared a message for others who may be facing similar circumstances. “I just hope that all the girls and boys who are going through such situations find the strength they need and get the support of their families. And please meditate. I think that really helps,” she added.

About FIR And Allegations

• The FIR names her husband, Abhineet Kaushik, his mother Urmila Kaushik (65), and sister Kirti Kaushik (29).
• The allegations include physical and mental harassment, domestic violence, assault, verbal abuse, and character assassination.
• The FIR is filed under Section 85 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (cruelty by a husband or relatives), with Sections 316(2) and 352 invoked, relating to breach of trust and intentional insult.
• Aditi also accused her mother-in-law of retaining her wedding jewellery, including gold chains, rings, a diamond ring, mangalsutra, and bangles, despite her repeated requests for their return.

About Aditi’s Relationship

Aditi met Abhineet in June 2021 during an online acting course, initially as friends, before developing a romantic relationship. They moved into a rented house in Goregaon West in September 2024 and married on November 12, 2024, with both families reportedly aware and supportive.

The relationship reportedly soured shortly after marriage, with frequent arguments over personal matters, including her clothes and household expenses. She alleges that an incident on January 1, 2025, escalated to violence, after which Abhineet questioned her fidelity and began checking her phone. During disputes, Abhineet would involve his mother and sister, which added to her distress, according to her account.
