Housefull 5 is making history before it even hits cinemas. The fifth instalment of India’s biggest comedy franchise is set for Akshay Kumar’s widest overseas release to date, launching across 85+ countries, 1300+ locations, and 2000+ screens worldwide.

The response has been phenomenal. Advance bookings for Housefull 5 are tracking higher than both Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in major markets.

In New Zealand and Fiji, the multi-starrer is poised to become the fourth highest Bollywood film in terms of advance sales post-pandemic. The films currently ahead of it are Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, and Jawan, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. These figures highlight the franchise’s global charm. It also sheds light on the overwhelming enthusiasm for its bold, one-of-a-kind storytelling format where the story and screenplay is written by Sajid Nadiadwala.

About The Film

Boasting an ensemble cast of 19 stars, the multi-starrer is the most glam-packed killer comedy yet. Leading the charge of Housefull 5 is the king of comedy himself, Akshay Kumar. He will be joined by Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, and Jackie Shroff. Also seen will be Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Panday, Johnny Lever, and Shreyas Talpade.

Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir will be part. The film is directed by Tarun Mansukhani. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film releases in cinemas worldwide on June 6, 2025.
