The Day 4 earnings alone amounted to Rs 24.50 crore net in India, across 17,612 shows. The Kannada version of Toxic recorded an overall occupancy of 47.23% on Day 4, while the Hindi version achieved 26.19% occupancy. On Day 4, the film’s highest collection came from the Hindi version, which earned Rs 15.50 crore at 23.0% occupancy across 12,822 shows.
The Kannada version followed with Rs 6.60 crore at 47.0% occupancy across 1,341 shows. The Telugu version contributed Rs 1.50 crore with 23.0% occupancy from 1,672 shows, while the Tamil version earned Rs 0.75 crore at 17.0% occupancy across 1,500 shows. The Malayalam version added Rs 0.15 crore at 21.0% occupancy across 277 shows.
Released on August 26, Toxic initially saw a record-breaking Rs 101.10 crore net collection in India. However, the film witnessed a significant drop in collections in subsequent days. The movie has received a mixed response from audiences and critics alike. While some viewers have praised Yash’s screen presence, the visuals, and action sequences, others have criticised its writing, pacing, and length. This divided sentiment has sparked ongoing discussion around the film since its release.
