Padma Awards 2026: Mammootty, R Madhavan To Alka Yagnik, Celebs Honoured At Ceremony- Complete Winners List

President Droupadi Murmu conferred actors Mammootty, R Madhavan and singer Alka Yagnik at the Padma Awards 2026 on Tuesday among others. The ceremony was held at the second Civil Investiture Ceremony in New Delhi. Celebs Honoured At Padma Awards 2026 Ceremony

President Droupadi Murmu gave away the second set of 65 Padma Awards at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The awards presented at the ceremony included honours for Mammootty, Alka Yagnik, R Madhavan and the late Satish Shah. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were also among the attendees.

For the late actor Satish Shah, his brother Arvind Shah received the award on his behalf. Earlier in May, legendary actor Dharmendra received the Padma Vibhushan posthumously, while actor Prosenjit Chatterjee was honoured with the Padma Shri for his contribution to Indian cinema.

This year, the President approved 131 Padma Awards, including five Padma Vibhushan, 13 Padma Bhushan and 113 Padma Shri honours. Announced annually on Republic Day, the awards recognise distinguished contributions across fields such as art, literature, education, medicine, science, sports, public affairs, trade and industry, social work, and civil service.
