Aamir Ali Opens Up On TV Actors Choosing Television Due To Limited Film Opportunities
Starring in over 25 television shows, Aamir Ali spoke candidly about actors like him becoming TV stars due to the lack of film offers. Aamir Ali said, “Jab humne apni career ki shuruaat ki thi, kitne? Chaar-paanch channels the. Paanch channels mein chhe shows hote the har channel par. So 30 shows ho gaye total. So there were 30 actors and 30 actresses who had actually dreamt of becoming film stars, but through the medium of television, not film. I had dreamt of becoming a film star. Mujhe woh opportunity mili, release nahi hua, whatever happened. Eventually, main ro-ro ke TV shuru kiya. And eventually, that became what I am today.”
The FIR actor concluded, ” So abhi kya ho gaya hai? Pehle woh 30 shows hote the. Ab, because of the social media trend, humare paas 3 crore stars hain. Ab woh 3 crore stars mein se 300 bade hain, ya 3000 bade hain. I don’t know the count. So I think whoever is getting an opportunity, good for them. Whoever is meant to be will reach, whoever is not meant to be, won’t.”
