Aasif Sheikh Vidisha Srivastava Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai 2.0

Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai 2.0 is back with a brand-new season, promising double the laughter, heightened entertainment, and a playful twist of spookiness. One of India’s most loved comedy franchises reinvents itself by stepping into the horror-comedy space without losing the essence that made it a household favourite. Streaming on ZEE5 and airing on &TV, the new season blends familiar humour with supernatural surprises, ensuring audiences get the best of both worlds.

Every actor on Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai 2.0 had to fully immerse themselves in their characters, going beyond performance to truly inhabit the madness and mayhem of the new season. For the cast, stepping into this horror-comedy space meant balancing fear with flawless timing, vulnerability with wit, and chaos with control.

Aasif Sheikh, Vidisha Srivastava On Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai 2.0’s Spooky Turn

During an exclusive interaction, the actors revealed that the atmosphere on set often echoed the show’s quirky tone, charged with laughter, playful tension, and moments of spooky surprise, making the experience both demanding and delightfully rewarding. The season, they say, emerges as a refreshing evolution of the beloved franchise, where comedy remains the heart, even as the supernatural takes centre stage.

Talking about the new season’s spooky aspect and if it compromises on the comedy essence, actor Aasif Sheikh said,” What’s written on paper is one thing, but every actor brings their own inputs to the character. We’ve made an extra effort to ensure that the comedy never suffers. Audiences will experience plenty of laughs; there’s absolutely no change there. In fact, the horror element only adds to the humour. Tiwari is essentially a sufferer; he’s scared, constantly dealing with bizarre ghostly incidents, and trying to make sense of the chaos around him. That suffering is where the comedy truly comes alive.”

Vidisha Srivastava said, “ I’ve been portraying Anita for almost four years now, and this season brings an exciting new dimension. Anita has always been stylish, and that essence continues, but audiences will also see her in a refreshed avatar with a subtle spooky twist. It’s a new package, but the comedy remains the same. There are some changes in my look this time. I’ll mostly be seen in sarees, with a richer, more elegant styling. That said, Anita’s signature style is very much intact .”

Double the laughs, a dash of Darr! Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai is back! Watch the madness unfold on ZEE5 and &TV.
