In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the actor revealed that the cast’s remuneration has increased, even acknowledging reports that some stars were paid nearly three times their earlier fees. When asked about the reports that the Mirzapur: The Movie cast fees have been doubled or tripled, Abhishek Banerjee replied, “Dekho, aisa hai, paise toh mile hain. Achhe mile hain. Theek hai, ispe toh baat kar sakte hain ki paise toh mile hain. Aur abhi haan, jo-jo khabar aa rahi hai, sach hai bhai. Sabke rates badh gaye hain. Pehele se triple mili hai. Jo bol rahe hain, jo bhi bol rahe hain na, jo aap sun rahi hain—kya, crores mein aapne bola na? Haan haan, sab sahi.”

Clarifying his co-star Harshita Gaur’s statement of obnoxious numbers in Bollywood Bubble’s interviews, Banerjee shared, “Us bechaare ko zyada pata nahi hai. Usko pata nahi hai zyada. Nahi, hum log NDA sign karte hain na, toh woh sab bata nahi sakte, price but haan, bahut mile hain.”

Mirzapur: The Movie is a 2026 action-crime thriller film. Gurmmeet Singh has directed this film, and it expands on the hit Amazon Prime Video web series Mirzapur.
