EXCLUSIVE: ‘After Paras I haven’t been in a relationship with anyone’: Akanksha Puri on no closure from ex Paras Chhabra

Bigg Boss OTT 2 Akanksha Puri just got evicted from the house last Sunday on June 2. While she was in the house, she was certainly the centre of attention. Her flirtatious friendship with co-contestant Jad Hadid kept her in the constant spotlight. Talking about her life outside the house, the actress was previously dating Bigg Boss 13 contestant Paras Chhabra. In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Akanksha Puri expressed her feelings about not getting closure over her breakup. 

Akanksha opens up about no closure from ex-boyfriend Paras

When we asked Akanksha Puri whether she has got closure since her break up with Paras Chhabra, she said, “No. It doesn’t matter to me now. Because this topic has gone stale now. Even previously I have said in my interviews that people just bring up stuff like stale food and heat it up again in the microwave, just for the heck of presenting. At least make something new.”

Further talking about the importance of closure, she said, “It has been four years now. This thing will always remain but closure or no closure it’s not important anymore. The topic stands irrelevant to me.” Akanksha Puri and Paras Chhabra broke up when Paras announced their split while he was in the Bigg Boss 13 house and started a close friendship with Mahira Sharma.

As we moved forward, we asked her that is she sceptical about dating people now. Akanksha answered, “Yes definitely. I would be lying if I said that I am comfortable. Because after Paras I haven’t been in a relationship with anyone. I have become more careful and more protective.”

As an actor, she has always been in the public eye and as her breakup was in the public eye, Akanksha spoke about why it didn’t take a mental or emotional toll on her. Explaining the reason, Akanksha said, “I have never refrained from sharing because I am comfortable and I understand that in showbiz. I understand I am a public figure. People are interested in my life and I am somebody who loves to share things about myself. But, yes some things should be kept a little personal.”

Apart from this she candidly spoke about her kissing incident with Jad Hadid and her relationship with Mika Singh.
