When asked about how Jaya Bachchan is perceived to be scary and rude in pap videos, Anjali Anand said, “My favourite person. Pap videos mein sab like, ‘Arre Pap videos!’ — but kuch nahi hai. She is a grandmother, yaar. Unki daughter chal rahi hain, granddaughter bhi chal rahi hai side-side mein. Aap bhi bologe, “Phone hatao!” Exactly. Agar unki granddaughter ka koi video le raha ho toh kaisa lagega? Anyone would feel awkward. And she is a grandmom, thoda toh darna chahiye unse. Waise bhi dar lagta hai. But no, she is so much fun! Mujhe scene ke beech mein hansati thi, itna khana khilaya hai, itna mera dhyaan rakha hai. It’s not like everybody has pressured her to be anything — she is a sweetheart. She’s like a bacha. She and Shabana are both little babies who just have so much fun. And I had a lot of fun too.”
