EXCLUSIVE: Apoorva Arora Wraps First Schedule Of City Beautiful; Calls Crime Series ‘Emotionally Intense’

Actor Apoorva Arora has wrapped the first schedule of her upcoming crime series City Beautiful in Chandigarh. The second schedule of the series is set to begin next month. In exclusive snippets shared with Bollywood Bubble, the actress got candid about her experience shooting the series. Read on to know all she said.

Speaking about the experience of shooting for the series, Apoorva Arora shared that the emotionally demanding nature of the crime drama made it one of her most intense shoots so far. She shared, “It was a really intense schedule. City Beautiful is a true crime series, and the situations and emotions we were portraying were so heavy that they stayed with me even after pack-up.”

Apoorva continues, “As an actor you should leave your character on set and not carry it back home, but this one genuinely affected me. Some scenes were emotionally exhausting and difficult to perform because of the nature of the story. At the end of the day, that’s our job as actors—to make the toughest emotions look effortless on screen. It was challenging, but also incredibly fulfilling, and I’m looking forward to getting back for the next schedule.”

City Beautiful is a gripping crime drama set against the backdrop of Chandigarh.

Apoorva’s Upcoming Projects

Apart from the series, Apoorva is currently juggling multiple creative projects across different mediums. Alongside shooting for City Beautiful, she is also working on her next film while actively performing in theatre, making it one of her busiest phases as an actor.

With a film, a web series and theatre all happening simultaneously, Apoorva continues to explore diverse storytelling formats and challenge herself with varied performances.
