EXCLUSIVE: Nikhil Chinapa Reveals Punching Guy Who Tried To Grab Mini Mathur During Concert; Says, “I Was On The Barricade In Half A Second”

Nikhil Chinapa opened up about his deep friendship with Mini Mathur, revealing that their bond extends far beyond their time together on The Alliance. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, he recalled an emotional conversation before entering the reality show. Nikhil admitted he was more worried about being forced to betray Mini than losing the game. He revealed how he instinctively confronted a man who tried to grab Mini backstage, adding that the same feeling of loyalty and protectiveness remains unchanged even today. Nikhil Chinapa Reflects On Bond With Mini Mathur

Speaking about his bond with Mini Mathur, Nikhil Chinapa revealed, “Jab main show mein aaya tha, toh Mini aur mere beech mein yeh baatein bhi hui thi. Mini ne mujhe phone karke bola tha, ‘Nikhil, whatever happens, I will never be disloyal to you. I will never throw you under the bus.’ Maine Mini se kaha, ‘Mini, aise promises mat banao, kyunki humein nahi pata show mein kya hoga, format mein kya hoga, game ke saath kya hoga. Bas itna jaante hain ki tum aur meri friendship kabhi affect nahi hogi.’ “

He said, “Yeh baat karke hi hum show mein gaye the. Uske baad mujhe ek hi chinta thi, kyunki main jaanta hoon ki main game mein kitna focused ho sakta hoon. I won’t use the word ruthless, but when I get completely into something, then I’m into it 150%. Mujhe yeh fikr thi ki kahin aisi situation na aa jaaye jahan mujhe Mini ko betray karna pade.”

Mini Mathur Announced Second Pregnancy

The Reality TV Star continued, “Fortunately, aisi koi situation kabhi aayi hi nahi, aur main us front par kabhi test nahi hua. Thank goodness for that. But I was tested on how loyal I was to Mini, and I think loyalty is loyalty. I stood up for her. Iski bhi ek wajah hai. He added, “Mumbai mein bhi hua tha. Us concert mein bahut saare celebrities, bands aur performers aaye the. Richard Gere bhi aaye the, jo ek bahut bade Hollywood actor hain. Jab hum backstage the, saare VJs—Maria, Cyrus Broacha, Sahukar aur baaki sab—green room mein the. Tab Mini ne humein announce kiya tha ki she was going to become a mother. Woh pehli baar tha jab unhone yeh baat sabko batayi thi.”

Nikhil Reveals A Guy Gropped Mini Mathur During A Concert

Nikhil continued, “Mujhe aaj bhi yaad hai ki us waqt mere andar kaisi feeling thi. The joy, the overwhelming feeling of protectiveness—it was very strong. Concert ke end mein stage yahan hota tha aur beech mein audience ke andar sound aur lights ka control console hota tha. Stage aur console ke beech barricades ke saath ek corridor banaya gaya tha aur audience dono taraf khadi thi. Concert khatam hone ke baad humein bataya gaya ki VJs ko closing link karna hai—camera ke saamne aakar concert wrap-up karna tha. Hum sab ek line mein us taraf chal rahe the. Mini mere aage thi, aur mere peeche kaun tha mujhe yaad nahi. Tabhi audience mein se ek aadmi ne Mini ko bahut derogatory tareeke se grab karne ki koshish ki. Mini ne turant react kiya aur uska haath hata diya.”

Concluding the Roadies Gangleader said, “Maine woh sab aadhe second mein dekha. Agle hi aadhe second mein main barricade ke upar tha aur maine us aadmi ko seedha face par punch maar diya. Kyunki us waqt mere andar sirf ek hi feeling thi—to protect this beautiful person who had just told us that she was going to become a mother. Humein lag raha tha ki hum uske personal protectors hain. Aur woh feeling of protection aaj tak waise hi hai. Har baar jab main uske bete Vivaan ko dekhta hoon, mujhe uske liye kuch alag hi feeling aati hai. Mujhe nahi pata kyun. Main usse explain nahi kar sakta. Woh jo feeling andar hai, wahi show mein bhi naturally bahar aa jaati hai.”

Mini Mathur and her husband, filmmaker Kabir Khan, have two children together, Vivaan and Sairah Khan.
