EXCLUSIVE: ‘Devansh’ Abhishek Sharrma Teases BIG Twists In Vasudha As Dadi Refuses Brain Tumour Treatment; Shares, “She Wants To Get Treated Only With Vasu’s Money”

Talking about the major storyline in Vasudha, Abhishek Sharrma said that the drama is just going to get more intense from here. He shared that Dadi’s illness will put Devansh in an impossible situation because she refuses to undergo treatment under the current circumstances. The actor said, “Yes, there are so many twists coming up. Dadi has a brain tumour, and she will not accept any kind of treatment because Vasu’s factory is not working. It’s a very tough situation for Dev because he has closed the factory.”

According to the actor, Dadi wants her treatment to happen only with money earned by Vasu, making things even more complicated. He revealed, “Dadi wants to get treated only with Vasu’s money. She will have three conditions, and one of them is very complicated, which is getting Vasu accepted as the daughter-in-law. That is going to be the toughest challenge.”

Abhishek Sharrma further hinted that an unexpected twist will eventually convince Dadi to undergo surgery. However, whether her final condition is fulfilled remains a mystery that viewers will have to discover by watching the show. He stated, “There is a twist where Dadi finally agrees to the surgery. How she agrees and how her third condition is handled is something the audience will have to watch. Whether that condition is accepted or not is what makes the upcoming track really exciting.”

Talking about how the diagnosis affects Devansh emotionally, Abhishek explained that Dadi is much more than just his grandmother. She is his guide, friend and biggest support system, making the situation extremely painful for him. He shared, “For Dev, Dadi is a friend, a companion and a grandmother. Every member of his family is precious to him, and if something happens to any one of them, he cannot handle it. He wants to help them at any cost.”

The actor said Dadi’s illness changes the equation between Dev, Vasu and Chandrika, but despite everything, Devansh knows someone has to stay strong for the family. He shared, “After finding out about Dadi’s brain tumour, everything changes. The dynamic between Dev, Vasu and Chandrika changes. But Dev has always believed that no matter how difficult the situation is, someone in the family has to stay composed. Dadi Sa has always been the biggest source of strength. Seeing her in such a vulnerable condition affects him deeply.”

Abhishek Sharrma On Devansh’s Silent Struggle In Vasudha

Abhishek also spoke about his experience of playing Devansh’s silent struggle on the screen. He said that instead of showing emotions loudly, he focused on the inner conflict of the character and his quiet pain. He said, “Even though Dev is hurting, he feels responsible for holding the family together because if he breaks down, everyone else might too. That’s what makes this track so interesting as an actor. The emotions are not loud all the time. Sometimes the biggest pain comes through silence, a pause or trying to keep a straight face when you’re falling apart inside.”
