Scroll below to read all she had to say about how men and women are treated in the reality TV space.

Nehal Chudasama: Qualities Praised As ‘Strong’ In Men Are Labelled ‘Problematic’ In Women

Speaking about the double standards women face in reality shows for being outspoken or opinionated, Nehal said, “I genuinely believe women in reality shows are often judged much more harshly for being outspoken, confident, emotional, or opinionated. Qualities that are praised as ‘strong’ or ‘dominant’ in men are sometimes labelled as ‘attitude’ or ‘problematic’ when displayed by women. There is definitely a double standard that still exists.”

She continued, “I strongly feel women should be allowed to express themselves fearlessly without constantly being scrutinized for it. Being vocal or standing your ground should never be viewed as a negative trait.”

With her honest and fearless views, Nehal has once again highlighted the importance of creating a more balanced perspective towards strong women in the entertainment industry.
