EXCLUSIVE: Rajpal Yadav wouldn’t mind playing Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s Chota Pandit 12 more times – here’s why

Rajpal Yadav is a well known actor in Bollywood thanks to his unforgettable perfromances in films like the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, Waqt: The Race Against Time, Hungama, Chup Chup Ke, Bhagam Bhag, Dhol and more. The actor – who will soon be seen Kaam Chalu Hai, in a recent chat with Bollywood Bubble, got candid about his character in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise – Chota Pandit.

From describing the character as more of a caricature to revealing he would like to play the character again, read on to know all he said to us during an exclusive telephonic conversation.

Rajpal Yadav on Chota Pandit

Talking about Chota Pandit from the Bhool Bhulaiyaa film franchise, Rajpal Yadav said in Hindi, “He isn’t a character, he is a caricature – a caricature character. He is a character no one in society is offended by as he doesn’t make fun of anyone. People like that there is nothing offensive about this character and he can make everyone laugh.”

He continued, “I feel lucky to have been able to play this character in all three parts of the film till now. If I’m asked to play this role in 12 more films, I will happily say yes to it. Till now you’ve seen two different colours of the character – red (in the first instalment), and white (in the second instalment). This time you will see him in Chandan (yellowish hue). I want to show all his colours.”

About Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

The film will star Kartik Aaryan, the OG Manjulika – Vidya Balan, Triptii Dimri and Naseeruddin Shah, amongst others. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is set for a grand Diwali 2024 release.
