YRF’s latest offering Saiyaara – starring debutant actors Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has been immensely loved by the audience across the globe. The film – which has raked in more than Rs 500 crore at the global box office, is being praised for its emotional story, power packed performances and incredible music. Along side the lead stars, actor Shaan Groverr has also made his big screen debut in the Mohit Suri directorial. The actor was seen essaying the part of Vaani’s ex-fiancĂ©, Mahesh.
Shaan recently interacted with Bollywood Bubble and opened up about things such as what matters more – screen presence or screen time, playing a grey character and the YRF film & his co-stars. During the same interaction, the upcoming actor – who also was an assistant director for Sanam Teri Kasam, also opened up about some of the actors on dream list, aka he really wants to work with.
Shaan Groverr Picks Between Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan & Salman Khan
During a rapid-fire segment with Bollywood Bubble, Shaan Groverr revealed some names that are on his dream list. When asked which dream director he wants to work with in the future, the ‘Saiyaara’ actor replied, “Either a romantic movie with Karan Johar or a dark, edgy movie with Vishal Bhardwaj.”
On being quizzed about which 90s actor and actress he would love to share the silver screen with, Shaan named Tabu and Sanjay Dutt. Revealing why he chose the duo, the ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ AD explained, “Tabu, because she’s a masterclass in acting and Sanjay Dutt as his swag is unmatched.” Talking about artists from the current generation, Shaan stated that he would love to work with National Award-winning actor Vicky Kaushal and the current pan-India stars Triptii Dimri.
On being asked which Bollywood Khan he wants to work with the most, the actor replied, “All of them, obviously! “ On being asked to pick one name amongst Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, Shaan said, “There’s a childhood pull towards Shah Rukh Khan. That man shaped my idea of cinema.”
