EXCLUSIVE: Shaad Randhawa Reveals Being JOBLESS Before Mohit Suri Offered Him Aashiqui 2; Admits, “He’s Godsent For Me”

Shaad Randhawa and Mohit Suri have collaborated in multiple films like Woh Lamhe, Aashiqui 2, Saiyaara, and others. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actor recalled how he met Suri and was offered Aashiqui. Shaad even mentioned that because of Mohit, he still gets so much love. Shaad Randhawa On Working In Mohit Suri’s Aashiqui 2

When asked if Aashiqui 2 has changed his life, as said in a previous interview, Shaad Randhawa rectified, “Nahi, Aashiqui 2 ke pehele do–teen saal tak mere paas bilkul kaam nahi tha. Toh main kuch doosra kaam kar raha tha, jo I think you know, kya karein jab aapko jo chahiye wo kaam nahi mil raha hota for whatever reasons. But ek music launch tha, I think it was Blood Money, joh film release hui thi Kunal ki, Vishal Mahadkar the director. Uski party thi, toh main wahan gaya tha, aur wahan mujhe Mohit mile.”

He added, “Unhone mujhe dekh ke poocha, ‘Tu abhi bhi acting kar raha hai na?’ Maine bola, ‘Haan yaar bhai, main toh actor hoon, mujhe acting karni hai. Kaam nahi hai.’ Toh, he said, ‘Theek hai, office aa ja.’ Aur tab main office gaya, tabhi Bhatt sahab aur unhone mujhe Aashiqui 2 ka role offer kiya. Isliye mujhe lagta hai that really changed a lot of things for me. Aur kahin na kahin, I think again, it was Mohit Suri, so unka shayad pichle janam ka kuch dena lena hai mera. Har baar aa jaate hain woh Saiyaara mein bhi the, do scene the bas, but dekho uske wajah se mujhe itna pyaar mila. So he has been a very integral part of my career, yaar, and he’s godsent for me.”

Shaad Randhawa was recently seen in Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat.
