As Inspector Avinash Season 2 gears up for its release, Shalin Bhanot and Freddy Daruwala opened up about their experience of working alongside powerhouse performers like Randeep Hooda and Urvashi Rautela. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, the actors candidly spoke about learning from Randeep’s craft, travelling together during shoots, and how Urvashi surprised them with her grounded and raw performance in the series. Shalin Bhanot Shares His Experience Working With Randeep Hooda

When asked about his experience of working with Randeep Hooda, Shalin Bhanot shared, “Bilkul bhi accha nahi raha. Kyunki usse pehle mujhe lagta tha ki main bahut behtareen actor hoon. Inke saath kaam karke realise hua ki utna bhi accha actor nahi hoon (laughs).”

He continued, “Main genuinely bol raha hoon. Jab maine yeh show sign kiya tha toh mujhe lagta tha ki main bahut shandaar actor hoon. Phir jab workshops shuru hui aur hum shooting pe gaye, toh laga ki nahi yaar, main bas theek actor hoon. Aur jab tak humne finish kiya aur ab season 2 aa raha hai, mujhe lagta hai ki abhi acting seekhni hai mujhe.”

Reflecting on the time he spent with the versatile actor, Shalin Bhanot further shared, ” Randeep bhaiya ko dekhkar toh lagta hai ki agar koi mujhe pooche ki meri fees kya thi, toh jo maine off-screen unke saath seekha hai uske liye mujhe hi fees deni chahiye. Main aur Randeep bhaiya ne lagbhag 130-140 din saath spend kiye, 15 cities mein travel kiya. Jo maine unse seekha hai na, uske liye mujhe Neeraj sir ko thank you bolna chahiye. Aur honestly, Randeep bhai ke saath kaam karne mein jo maza aaya hai… uff, kya kamaal actor hain woh.”

Freddy Daruwala Opens Up About Working With Randeep Hooda

Sharing his experience, Freddy Daruwala added, “I believe ki Randeep Hooda hamari industry ke sabse behtareen actors mein se ek hain aur woh ab uss mukaam par hain jahan unhe kisi approval ya validation ki zarurat nahi hai. Unhone over and over khud ko prove kiya hai. Kal bhi promotions ke dauraan main yahi bol raha tha ki joh log actor banna chahte hain, woh Randeep jaise actor ko dekhte hain aur sochte hain ki bhai woh bhi kahin se nahi the, he is not an industry kid. Woh bhi hum sab ki tarah hi aaye the. Lekin agar aap unki journey dekho toh unhone khud ko bahut tarasha hai. Aisa nahi tha ki woh aaye aur log unke liye ready baithe the.”

Freddy concluded, “Isi tarah main bhi maanta hoon ki as an actor mujhe apni craft ke liye bahut responsible rehna hai. Mujhe apne characters se zyada apni craft ke prati honest rehna hai, taki jab bhi koi opportunity mile toh main usse 100 per cent honesty ke saath play kar sakoon. Aur woh cheez Randeep bhai karte hain. Unke saath rehna, scenes karna, unki baatein sunna… bahut kuch seekhne ko milta hai. It has been a great experience. Sirf woh hi nahi, Neeraj sir, Praveen sir, Rajneesh, Amit Sial… sabke saath kaam karke bahut seekhne ko mila.”

Shalin Bhanot Calls Co-Actor Urvashi Rautela ‘Bubbly’

Furthermore, when asked about their experience working with Urvashi Rautela, Shalin shared, “Urvashi Rautela ke saath bhi bahut maza aaya. Inspector Avinash mein mujhe unka ek phase bahut kamaal ka laga. Main season 1 ki baat kar raha hoon, jab humne bilkul starting mein shoot shuru kiya tha. Ek-do din hi hue the shooting ko aur Urvashi ka ek scene tha jahan hum sab saath mein the — Randeep Hooda the, main tha aur ek-do aur actors the.”

He continued, “Maine pehli baar Urvashi ko itne no-makeup look mein dekha. No heavy hair, no glamour — bilkul ek basic B-town wali ladki ki tarah. Aur genuinely mujhe unke accent ke liye bhi laga nahi ki woh effort kar rahi hain. Aap generally Urvashi ko internet ya social media par dekhte ho toh unka ek glamorous andaaz hota hai. Dressing, makeup, behaviour, woh bahut peppy aur bubbly hain. Lekin is series mein woh bilkul ek saadhaaran si aurat banke aayi thi, ek UP police officer ki wife ki tarah.”

Shalin praises Urvashi for her maturity, adding, “Aur honestly, it takes a lot of effort. Meri bahut saari female friends hain aur mujhe pata hai ki ready hone mein kitni mehnat lagti hai. Lekin jo projection aapne apna bana rakha hai, usse todkar bilkul bare minimum par aa jaana, woh ek mature actor ki pehchaan hoti hai. Aur woh cheez Urvashi ne iss web series mein dikhayi hai.”

Freddy Daruwala Expresses Joy For Urvashi Rautela

Reflecting on his experience, Freddy said, “No, maine Urvashi Rautela ke saath scenes nahi kiye the. But I am very happy for her. Kyunki unki positioning aur branding ek alag space mein rahi hai. Aur yahan woh bilkul different type ka character play kar rahi hain. Main bahut khush hoon ki unhone yeh role kiya aur main chahta hoon ki woh aur zyada aise characters karein. Taki unki acting capability bhi bahar aaye aur log unhe ek alag avatar mein dekh sakein, appreciate kar sakein.”
