EXCLUSIVE: Shalin Bhanot reveals how his Inspector Avinash co-star Randeep Hooda helped him become a ‘better actor’

Shalin Bhanot is one of the most popular TV actors and especially after his Bigg Boss 16 journey, the actor has gained a lot of praise. After his Bigg Boss journey, he quickly became a household name and people started knowing him for his happy-go-lucky personality and charm. After marking his presence on TV, now the actor is expanding his horizons and making his OTT debut with Inspector Avinash. Recently, we sat for an exclusive interview with him where he shed light on numerous things.

Shalin Bhanot on actor Randeep Hooda…

As the interview got candid,  Shalin opened up about his bond with co-actor Randeep Hooda. The actor said, he considers Randeep Hooda as his elder brother and has learnt a lot from him. In fact, Bigg Boss fame also said after this project Shalin he has turned into a better actor and a part of the credit goes to Randeep. While talking about Highway actor, Bhanot said, “Off camera bhi humlog sirf kaam ki baatein karte the. I remember jab hum ek ghati mein shoot karte the, tab waha pe shooting khatam honeke baad log raat mein enjoy karte the. But mein unka play sunta tha. We bonded a lot by craft.The kind of experience he has, he is my senior. He has such a good experience. And he is a serious performer and that actually helped me become a better actor.”

Shalin narrating funny anecdotes…

Further the Bekaabo actor also narrated funny anecdotes from his sets. Shalin spoke about how Randeep Hooda asked him to get in the skin of his character. Shaling further shares, “Mera serious role and unka (Randeep Hooda) itna hi funny role hai. Unka role bohot swagger wala role hai. Woh apna enjoy kar rahe the aur mein aa gaya aur mein bhi hasne laga. To woh mujhse kehne lage – tum yaha pe baithe kyu ho tumhe jaake akele baithna chahiye and then unhone mujhe shaam ko samjhaya. Aur phir mein akele hi baitha rehta tha aur apne role ki practice karne laga. Har ek minute unke sath time bitaya toh aise lagta hai ki kuch naya sikh liya. Working with him matters a lot as an actor.”

Now, talking about Inspector Avinash, it is a web series and the plot is a mixture of thriller and humour. The plot of the web-series revolves around an inspector from Uttar Pradesh and further takes us through his journey. The web series features Randeep Hooda, Shalin Bhanot, Rajneesh Duggal and several others.
