Actress Soniya Bansal has reacted strongly to actor Karan Patel’s recent comments related to Bigg Boss, which she found disrespectful and discriminatory towards outsiders. The actress did not hide her anger after a video surfaced where Karan Patel spoke about how Bigg Boss was supposedly better five to six years ago when celebrities participated and claimed that audiences do not want to watch the show when outsiders are involved. Soniya’s reaction has sparked conversation as she openly called out the mindset behind such remarks.
Soniya Bansal SLAMS Karan Patel Over Bigg Boss Remarks
Soniya quote, she felt extremely disturbed by the statement suggesting that Bigg Boss is only worth watching when celebrities are part of it. She said deciding who deserves to be on a platform based on fame is unfair and insulting, adding that reality shows are meant to reflect society, real people, and real journeys, not a selective group from the industry.
Soniya Bansal expresses her anger particularly over the comment where Karan Patel allegedly said that he does not want to see a vegetable vendor on Bigg Boss. She questioned who gave him the authority to judge someone’s worth based on their profession. She firmly stated that no job is small and no individual is inferior, saying such thinking shows a lack of humanity rather than superiority.
Soniya adds that outsiders bring authenticity, struggle, and relatability, which is why audiences connect deeply with them. She pointed out that Bigg Boss has always worked because of diverse personalities and backgrounds, and dismissing outsiders only exposes arrogance and insecurity, not stardom.
She concludes, “God never discriminates between anyone, so who are we to judge? Just because someone has done two or three TV shows does not make them such a big celebrity that they can decide who is superior and who is not. Saying things like you don’t want to see a vegetable vendor is deeply wrong.”
Soniya added, by stating that discrimination has no place in the entertainment industry or in society. God never discriminates between people, then no actor or celebrity has the right to do so. She urged public figures to be mindful of their words and reminded everyone that respect comes from values, not from screen presence.
