Tusshar Kapoor recently opened up about an important lesson he learned early in his career, crediting his former manager for helping him overcome his introverted nature. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actor admitted that he was once shy and hesitant to socialise, something his manager believed could send the wrong message in showbiz. Comparing his past professional relationship with the one he shares with his current manager, Tusshar revealed how the dynamic has evolved over the years—from receiving strict guidance and “gyaan” to enjoying a friendly, collaborative bond built on mutual trust and understanding. Tusshar Kapoor Reveals Ex-Manager Was Aggressive Towards Him

When speaking about his past managers, Tusshar Kapoor reveals, “Mera ek pehele ka manager tha. He was very aggressive. Yeh baat lagbhag 20 saal pehle ki hai. Woh mujhe hamesha kehta tha ki, ‘Logon se milo, baat karo.’ Main uss time bahut young tha, aur introvert bhi tha. Toh woh kehta tha, ‘Main phone lagata hoon, aap bas hello bolo, baat karo.'”

The actor continued, “He was very aggressive, which was actually good. Usne mujhe yeh lesson sikhaya ki we have to socialise as well. Zaroori nahi hai ki har party mein jaana pade, but hum is line mein bilkul cold nahi ho sakte, right? Warna galat message chala jaata hai. Kabhi-kabhi agar hum shy hote hain ya thoda introverted behave karte hain, toh that’s sending the wrong signal. So, he taught me that.”

He continued, “Ab meri jo manager hai, she is like my friend. Hum itne saalon se saath kaam kar rahe hain ki woh mujhe waise advice nahi deti. Kabhi-kabhi main hi usse advice deta hoon, jaise, ‘Chalo kar lete hain, itne paise mat maango.’ Sometimes I only give advice, and she gives me advice too, but in a very friendly manner. So, it’s not like that anymore. But my manager who was working with me 20 years back was much senior to me, so he used to give me a lot of gyaan.”

Tusshar was recently seen in Welcome to the Jungle alongside Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff and others. Additionally, he recently starred in the adult comedy Mastiii 4, which was released in November 2025. The actor is gearing up for the release of Golmaal 5.
