4 movies, 2 shows and 10 endorsements at risk, thanks to Salman’s Blackbuck Poaching case verdict
The moolah at stake with Bhai's conviction
With Jodhpur court ruling out verdict against Salman Khan, a lot of people are feeling the impact. It is a big setback for the family and a lot seems to be at risk at professional front too. If he does not receive bail, then it would affect his forthcoming films, shows and endorsements tremendously. Here's a list of the deals, movies, and projects that are going to get affected with this decision of the court.
The biggest film that can get affected if Salman Khan is not granted bail, is his upcoming film 'Race 3'. The film is supposed to hit the screen this Eid and it definitely has the power to earn minimum Rs 300 crores at the box office. Without him promoting the film, it is difficult to have the same impact.
Another film that can get affected is his 'Kick 2' which holds the same potential as 'Race 3'. 'Kick' was a superhit and people are eagerly waiting for the second instalment.
'Dabangg 3', the third instalment of the hit franchise 'Dabangg' will also be affected as Salman won't be able to shoot in case if he is in jail. A minimum of Rs 300 crore loss to Bollywood, it would be.
A film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar starring Salman Khan named 'Bharat' has already been announced. Now, with Salman being in the jail, one wonders what would happen to this film.
Dus Ka Dum
The second season of television show 'Dus Ka Dum' hosted by Salman Khan has already garnered a lot of buzz with its teaser. A lot of TRP and a lot of moolah is at stake because of this verdict pronounced by the Jodhpur court.
Bigg Boss 12
For years Salman Khan has been hosting 'Bigg Boss' and this year too was not supposed to be exceptional. Salman is one of the key reasons for this show to be on the top of its TRP game. But this year, things seem to be murky.
In total, Salman Khan endorses approximately 10 brands and the value he adds to these brands with his image is quite high. So we wonder what their stance would be with the verdict. However, one thing is clear that if he is not out on bail, these brands would be in a soup.
