The V.V. Vinayak directorial was released in 2003. The lead role was first offered to the RRR actor. However, he rejected the role as he did not want to play the character of a student. It was later offered to Nithiin. Dil was remade in the languages Oriya, Kannada, and Tamil.

As per reports, Jr NTR rejected the movie because director Surender Reddy’s previous movies Ashok and Athidi did not do well at the box office. The movie then featured Ravi Teja and Ileana D’Cruz in key roles.

The movie was rejected by Jr NTR. Eventually, Allu Arjun bagged the role and became an overnight star with the movie. He received many awards for his performance too.

The RRR actor was offered Boyapati Srinu directorial Bhadra. However, he rejected the movie and Ravi Teja bagged the role. The movie became quite popular later; it was remade in Tamil and Kannada.

Oopiri

Jr NTR had reportedly turned down the Vamshi Paidipally directorial because of a particular scene in the movie. The actor reportedly had to touch the feet of Nagarjuna and he was not ready for it. As per the reports, he was not okay with the scene thinking his fans might not like it. Karthi stepped into the role later. Although the movie did not do well nationally, it was a hit at the US box office.
