Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Drishyam managed to win hearts. The Drishyam cast got together for a sequel of the movie, after the amazing response that the first film received. Currently, the team of Drishyam 2 are gearing up for the release of the movie. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the upcoming movie stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta among others. As the Drishyam 2 was made on reportedly a budget of approximately Rs 50 crore, we managed to get scoop on the fees that the cast got paid.

Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn, who plays the role of Vijay Salgaonkar is back in the sequel to save his family from the heinous crime they committed. Reportedly, the actor got paid a whopping amount of Rs 30 crore for a role in the movie.

Tabu

Tabu plays the role of Meera Deshmukh, the former Inspector General of Police.  She also essays the character of Sam’s mother (the boy who got murdered). Tabu was reportedly paid a sum of Rs 3.5 crore for the movie.

Akshaye Khanna

Akshaye Khanna is the new addition to the cast of Drishyam 2. The actor plays the role of an investigating office on the Salgaonkar case, hell bent on finding the truth. He plays the role of Inspector General of Police, Tarun Ahlawat and Meera’s colleague. The actor got paid Rs 2.5 crore for a role in the movie, as per reports.

Shriya Saran

Shriya Saran essays the character of Nandini Salgaonkar, Vijay’s wife and mother of Anju and Anu. According to the reports, Saran was paid a salary of Rs 2 crore for a role in the movie.

Ishita Dutta who appears as Anju Salgaonkar, the elder daughter of Vijay and Nandini got paid reportedly a whopping sum of Rs 1.2 crore for the role she plays in the sequel.

Mrunal Jadhav

Mrunal Jadhav, playing Anu Salgaonkar, Vijay and Nandini’s younger daughter was paid around Rs 50 lakhs for her role in the movie, as per reports.

Rajat Kapoor

Rajat Kapoor plays the role of Mahesh Deshmukh, husband to Meera and father of Sam. Reportedly, the actor got paid Rs 1 crore for his character in Drishyam 2.

Meanwhile, the cast of Drishyam 2 is gearing up for the movie that is releasing theatrically on November 18. And, the movie cast has also kick-started the promotions in full swing.
