The pandemic has brought the whole world to a standstill. With several lives lost and the economy severely affected by the lockdown, several people have lost their livelihood. Veteran Telugu character artiste Pavala Syamala is also struggling to make ends meet amidst the second wave of Coronavirus. Thankfully, superstar Chiranjeevi has come to her aid. Chiranjeevi has handed over a cheque of Rs 1,15,000 to the veteran actress who is facing financial issues off late.

Apart from the money, the Archarya actor has enrolled Pavala for membership in the Movie Artists Association (MAA). Under this membership, the veteran actress will receive a monthly pension of Rs 6000 and Rs 3 lakh worth of insurance coverage.

MAA Executive Committee members Karate Kalyani and Suresh Kondeti handed over the cheque to the struggling actress. “Megastar Chiranjeevi garu donated 1,01,500 to veteran character artist Pavala Syamala garu who’s struggling to run the household.” Kondeti tweeted.

Interestingly, the generous actor Chiranjeevi has provided monetary help to the Pavala previously as well. Thanking Stalin actor Pavala Syamala told Indian Express, “I can’t forget the good that Chiranjeevi is doing for us. Earlier, he came forward and donated Rs 2 lakh when I was struggling to meet my daily needs with an unwell daughter. Today, he helped me with a cheque to get a monthly pension. I am indebted to him forever. My heartfelt thanks to him for helping us.”

Pavala had made her acting debut with Chiranjeevi’s Challenge (1984). She has other films like Khadgam, Varsham, Golimaar,  Kartavyam, Babai Hotel, Swarna Kamalam and Indra to her credit.
