Sharing the trailer of Irul the streaming giant tweeted, “Dramatic music, Fahadh Faasil and a whole lot of mystery: Irul has everything we love… and more! Arriving on April 2nd(sic).”

In the trailer, we see  Fahadh being questioned about a novel that is based on a murder that happened several years ago. Further answering why those five murders were committed, Fahadh says they were committed out of vengeance against women. The film appears to be a whodunit thriller as everyone is trying to find out who committed those murders.

You can check out the trailer below:

The film’s synopsis on YouTube reads, “A dark rainy night, an empty house, a stranded couple and an unknown man. A sleek game of the cat and the mouse starts playing on, as the three of them find a dead body in the basement. The movie takes the shape of an old-fashioned whodunit — the kind with mystery, suspense and a house which feels like a mousetrap. Leaving us questioning, who is the killer? Find out in Irul, on 2nd April, on Netflix.”

The almost two-minute long trailer gives you goosebumps and leaves you asking for more. Murder mystery Irul looks promising and with Fahadh leading the film our expectations from it are already sky-high.
