Ram Charan confirms being part of Shankar’s next; Chiranjeevi is thrilled about their collaboration

Putting all the rumours to rest, Ram Charan has confirmed being part of Shankar’s next. The yet-untitled project is tentatively titled RC 15.  Ram Charan took to his Twitter handle to share the news. “Excited to be a part of Shankar Sir’s cinematic brilliance produced by Raju garu and Shirish garu. Looking forward to #RC15!(sic),” read his tweet. 

Shankar also shared the good news to his fans via tweet that read: “Excited to announce our new venture with @AlwaysRamCharan and Dil Raju @SVC_Official”.

Ram Charan’s actor dad Chiranjeevi is elated that his son has signed Shankar’s film. He took to his Twitter handle to express his excitement and wished good luck to the film. He tweeted, “Thrilled about @AlwaysRamCharanjoining hands with @shankarshanmugh master of the craft, visionary & a pioneer in transcending boundaries.Happy that your consecutive films are with passionate directors who strive to raise the bar for #IndianCinema. Good Luck! #RC15 #SVC50”.

This pan-Indian film will be produced by Dil Raju. It is the first-ever collaboration of Ram Charan and Shankar. Reportedly, it will go on floors in early 2022. Dil Raju said in a statement, “I am extremely happy and elated to collaborate with India’s finest actor- Ram Charan and director Shankar Shanmugam. We are bringing this movie to PAN India audience with a vision of creating cinema that will entertain the masses.”
