RRR song Dosti: Ram Charan and Jr NTR give perfect ode to the spirit of friendship

Ever since SS Rajamouli announced his magnum opus RRR, everyone has been eagerly looking forward to watching the film on the silver screen. Today on the occasion Friendship Day, the makers of RRR dropped the film’s first song Dosti. The track is a lovely ode to the spirit of friendship personified by Ramaraju and Bheem in RRR played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR respectively.

Taking to his Twitter handle, SS Rajamouli posted, “This Friendship day, witness the coming together of 2 powerful opposing forces – Ramaraju?& Bheem ? #Dosti Music  @MMKeeravaani @itsvedhem @anirudhofficial @ItsAmitTrivedi @IAMVIJAYYESUDAS #YazinNizar @TSeries @LahariMusic #RRRMovie #Natpu #Priyam(sic).”

RRR is period action drama chronicling the fictional tale on the younger days of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem (JR NTR) and Alluri Seetharamaraju (Ram Charan). The promotional music video features Ram and Jr NTR in a suave avatar. While the makers have dropped the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam version of the song, they are yet to drop the Hindi version of Dosti.

In the music video features MM Keeravani along with Anirudh Ravichander, Amit Trivedi, Yazin Nizar, Vijay Yesudas and Hemachandra. Ram Charan and Jr NTR make a dashing entry towards the end of the video. The song highlights the camaraderie between the lead actors.

PEN Studios has bagged RRR’s theatrical distribution rights across North India and have also bought the worldwide electronic rights for all languages. Pen Marudhar will be distributing the film in the North territory.

Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Lahari Music have acquired the music rights of RRR. The highly anticipated film also features Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. RRR will be released worldwide in several languages on October 13, 2021.
