When it comes to trolls, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu knows very well how to give it back. Today, she replied to a few tweets and also gave savage replies to some who trolled her. One of the netizens wrote on the micro-blogging site, Twitter that women rise “just to fall”.

On Monday, the actress reacted to a viral photo on Twitter. The photo in question has movie posters of female actresses on the walls of Chennai’s famous theatre Vettri. Sharing it, Sam wrote, “Women rising”. When an user wrote back, “just to fall”, reacting to it, she replied, “Getting back up makes it all the more sweeter my friend.” Befitting, isn’t it?

On the work front, Samantha will be seen in the much-awaited Telugu film, Shaakuntalam directed by Gunasekhar. The makers and the actress have today unveiled the release date of the film with a romantic poster. The mythological drama will release in theatres on February 17 this year. Sharing the poster on social media, the Yashoda actress wrote, “Witness the #EpicLoveStory #Shaakuntalam in theatres from Feb 17th 2023 Worldwide! Also in 3D.” Shaakuntalam will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Sam will also star in Varun Dhawan starrer Citadel. But reports are doing the rounds that she has opted out of the project. But Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, “Anything and everything written about her being replaced in Citadel is rubbish. She will begin the shoot in the second half of January.”

Samantha will also be seen in Kushi opposite Vijay Deverakonda.
