Baldoni had until June 23 to revise and refile his claims. It included allegations of breach of implied covenant and tortious interference with contract. However, his legal team has now confirmed they will not be moving forward with the same claims. They will instead pursue new legal strategies. Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, stated the dismissal. He said, “The Court’s decision on the motion to dismiss does no affect whatsoever on the truth that there was no harassment nor any smear campaign. Discovery is proceeding, and we are confident that we will prevail against these factually baseless accusations.”

Despite the ongoing legal battles, Lively’s representatives remain resolute. They stated, “Baldoni’s lawyer said the judge’s decision to dismiss their case was not a big deal, as they promised to amend and refile. As per usual, that was not true. The Court’s dismissal of Baldoni’s sham lawsuit was a total victory after all.”

He further denied any wrongdoing, emphasising that there was no harassment or smear campaign involved. Meanwhile, the case took another unexpected turn.
