BTS achieves yet another feat as DNA surpasses 1.3 billion views making a record in itself

BTS has slowly become synonymous with success now. With a few days remaining to their comeback song ‘Permission to dance’, ARMY around the globe are overjoyed to see them break another record. Their latest song Butter crossed 400 M views in over a month’s time while their 2017 song DNA has broken another record. DNA has hit 1.3 billion views on YouTube becoming the third-fastest music video by a South Korean group to surpass 1.3 billion views. There is no stopping for BTS.

As DNA achieves this feat, their other song Fake Love might soon join the bandwagon as well. DNA was part of their Love Yourself album and had gained 10 million views in mere eight hours of release. DNA also marked BTS’ entry on Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart. Apart from DNA, BLACKPINK’s DDU-DU DDU and Kill This Love hold the first two spots. BTS will soon break these records as well, given their ever-growing popularity.

Meanwhile, their latest single Butter made several records itself. It was the first K Pop song to be included in Spotify’s ‘Songs of the Summer’ playlist. Butter has also set the all-time high Youtube premiere record. In other news, looks like ARMY Day which is on July 9th will finally see BTS members meet ARMY in South Korea. As per an announcement and contest announced on Weverse, the K ARMY might get a chance to meet the members in person whilst a transparent division between them in the view of COVID 19 protocol.

BTS have mentioned their love for ARMY several times and both had been hoping to see each other soon and looks like it is finally happening. Meanwhile, the concept photos for Butter CD versions have already got everyone talking and wondering about the ‘hotter’ ‘cooler’ and ‘sweeter’ gifts BTS has prepared for ARMYs.
