BTS’ Butter tops Billboard Hot 100 for 4 weeks straight; V and Jungkook become the most popular K-Pop artists

BTS is one of the biggest boy bands in the world and the K-pop group has only been soaring higher day by day. BTS members RM, Suga, Jungkook, Jin, Jimin, V and J-Hope have been making waves with their latest hit Butter. ARMY all around the globe has been loving Butter by BTS and their love shows as the song has become a chartbuster. Butter is BTS’ second English song after Dynamite and it has claimed the No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. But that’s not it, it is a double celebration for ARMY as members V and Jungkook top the list of most popular K-Pop artists.

Sharing the news on the official Twitter handle of BTS, the celebrated as the tweet read, “Unbelievable! #BTS_Butter is on the top of the chart 4 weeks in a row! Thanks soooo-much #BTSARMY ???? #Got_ARMY_Behind_Us(sic)”

The Bangtan Boys sure have ARMY behind them as the song had also garnered almost 370 million views on Youtube. The music video of Butter had broken records within minutes of its release and it is continuing to do so. Earlier last month, when Butter had hit the No.1 spot on the Billboard charts, a statement by the band read, “We’re happy and honoured that the song reached No 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 again. We wouldn’t have gotten our fourth chart-topping song without everyone’s love and support. Thank you for enjoying ‘Butter’ and we will keep working hard to deliver refreshing and passionate music.”

The Bangtan Boys, Kim Taehyung aka V and Jeon Jungkook made a new record as they topped the list of The Most Popular K-Pop artists. A British magazine named Nubia Magazine released a list list of top 10 K-pop idols in the world. V and Jungkook claimed the 1st and 2nd spot respectively. The magazine said that Taehyungs fanbase was like no other while mentioning that V ‘wants to crash the internet with his fame and popularity’.

The list had other boys from the Butter hitmaker band, BLACKPINK, EXO and Cha Eun Woo.
