Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is on the list of presenters for the British Academy Film Awards aka BAFTA 2024. This comes nearly a year after Deepika turned heads at the Oscars, handing the Academy Award to the RRR team. She will join fellow presenters footballer David Beckham, actor Cate Blanchett and singer Dua Lipa on 19th February.

Deepika Padukone to be a presenter at BAFTA Film Awards

On Tuesday, 13 February, the names of the presenters at the 2024 BAFTA Awards were revealed. Besides the Bollywood diva, among other Hollywood biggies Lily Collins, Adjoa Andoh, Hugh Grant, Emma Corrin, Gillian Anderson, and Idris Elba will also be at the award ceremony. However, it’s yet to be confirmed which category Deepika or other celebs will present at the ceremony.

In recent years, Deepika has ascended to the status of a global brand ambassador for a diverse array of luxury brands spanning from apparel to jewelry.  She also took on a distinguished role as a jury member at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in 2022. The actress added another feather to her glorious hat by becoming the first Indian to receive the honor of unveiling the FIFA World Cup trophy in 2022. In a significant moment in 2023, Deepika Padukone was announced as a presenter for the 95th Academy Awards.

On the work front, Deepika is receiving praise for her stint in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter. She will next be seen in Kalki 2898 AD. The pan-Indian movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan. She will also be seen in The Intern Hindi remake. Apart from this, she is all set to feature as a female cop in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. Her look as Shakti Shetty is wiining hearts already.
