On Thursday, the British girl group- Little Mix announced a break following their 2022 tour after 10 years of non-stop commitment. The group members Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock confirmed the news and shared an emotional statement on social media. They also assured fans that they’re not splitting up!

Sharing a video, the girl band penned a note, that read as: “We wanted to let you all know that after the Confetti tour in April/May next year we are going to be taking a break from Little Mix. It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects.”

“We can’t thank you enough for your love and never-ending support since the beginning. We love you all SO much. We are not splitting up – Little Mix are here to stay ? We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future. We’ve made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can’t wait to make so many more. We’re sisters and we’ll always have each other and you, the fans, in our lives. Little Mix is forever ♥️ See you on tour! Jade, Leigh-Anne and Perrie x,” they concluded.

On 12 November, earlier this year, the group announced their first greatest hits album, Between Us, in celebration of the group’s ten-year anniversary. It included 18 classic songs as well as five new recordings.

Meanwhile, Jesy Nelson was a member of Little Mix with Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, and Perrie Edwards for nine years until leaving in December 2020 after she had a panic attack during the shoot for the music video of the 2020 hit number, Sweet Melody.
