Matrix Resurrections Trailer wants us to remember what is real

Warner Bros Pictures has released a new trailer for The Matrix Resurrections. Actors Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are back as the popular characters Neo and Trinity. The final trailer not only showcases the new powers of Neo(Keanu Reeves) but we also get to see Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Sati.

The original Matrix franchise was known for its mind-bending perception of reality. The new instalment depends heavily on the original to take forward its story. Keanu Reeves as Neo will leave you impressed.

The trailer is full of action and also interspersed with some footage from the previous installments. We also get to see Reeves’ Neo and Moss’ Trinity strapped inside machines hint that the two maybe, once again, be trapped inside the Matrix. They are also finding themselves drawn to each other.

The Matrix Resurrections also features Jada Pinkett Smith, Daniel Bernhardt, and Lambert Wilson who are reprising their roles. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris, and Christina Ricci are the newcomers to the series.

Lana Wachowski has helmed the film, which has been co-written by her, David Mitchell, and Aleksandar Hemon. Produced by James McTeigue, Wachowski, and Grant Hill, The Matrix Resurrections hits theatres on December 22.

For the unversed, The Matrix, released in 1999, features Keanu Reeves as Thomas Anderson, a computer programmer. He realizes that life is just a re-creation to mask an ongoing conflict between humans and Artificial Intelligence in the ‘real’ world. When he learns to manipulate this, stuff starts to happen.
