Relentless bad acting, poorly written script, songs that might make you cringe, Zarine Khan with her weirdly strange accent, a bit too much of skin show and an absolutely messed up storyline. Hate Story 3 just got us scratching our heads out of frustration.

The film is all about ruthless revenge; where two brothers hate each other from the very bottom of their hearts and try to screw the other one up with utmost effort while the ladies in the film play puppets. The story gets started as Aditya Diwan (Sharman Joshi) is seen inaugurating a hospital in the fond memory of his late brother who died in a plane crash. Siya (Zarine Khan), his brother Vikram’s fiance is pregnant with his child. After Vikram’s death, Aditya marries Siya. After years, the dead Vikram is not only alive suddenly but makes a royal entry as the villain. Conspiracies start building up against Aditya and a part of his business is about to be spoilt. Kaaya Sharma (Daisy Shah), Aditya’s most trusted employee is used to spy on the opponent.
Meanwhile it is revealed that Siya was always in love with Aditya but agreed to be with Vikram out of compulsion. The story unfoldsas the two brothers-turned-enemies go as silly as possible
with their sleazy dialogues and try to harm each other.

One can’t understand why did the female characters exist at all; apart from playing preys. Apparently, they have zero opportunity to act, except of adding some hotness, which too, at times, looks out of the context. All sound tracks except the reworked version of the old “tumhe apna banane ki kasam” are rather painful to the ears.
We don’t know why does Zarine Khan maintain a grumpy face throughout the film. Did she too smell it was going to be a disaster? Sharman Joshi is a perfect mismatch  with his new genre; he rather remains underutilized. & yes, the film is strikingly obsessed with objectifying the actresses.

It won’t require you to be a rocket-scientist to understand that it is a poorly written piece that lacks tightness, punchlines, effective usage of words. The blantly performed action sequences and the loud background scores are failed attempts of evoking cheap thrills.

The only part of appreciation we could shower on Zarine Khan and Daisy Shah is because they took up some daringly bold scenes to perform. From ‘Jai Ho’, it’s quite a jump for Daisy and Zarine can easily call it her comeback. She had less to do in the film, but she does look gorgeous.

However, since two pretty faces along with their sensuous treasures can’t make up an entire thriller, Hate Story  3 turns out to be a disaster; a thriller with no thrills. Do yourself a favour and drop your plans to watch it. Or else, watch it at your own risk and don’t blame us for not warning you!
