Kabir Khan is on a roll releasing ‘Phantom’ soon after his blockbuster hit ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. While Bajrangi Bhaijaan was an emotional-drama film, Phantom is something different as it is an action-thriller which will keep you on the edge of your seats.

Saif Ali Khan (Daniyal Khan) is playing a dominating role in the movie which is surely overpowering the role of Katrina Kaif (Nawaz Mistry).

The story is based on the horrific 26/11 Mumbai Attacks and how a former army officer (Daniyal Khan) takes revenge of the attacks killing all the major masterminds behind the attacks. The film starts with the presentation of the actual footage, Pictures, and narration of the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks. Soon after the narration, the story is taken to the present time (2015) where the Indian authorities are seen determined on taking revenge of the terror attacks. The Indian Authorities plan to execute all the masterminds behind the Mumbai attacks and for this mission they seek an officer who is a complete unknown figure to the world and has no past identity. In this case, even if he gets caught, he won’t be linked to India. After days of extensive search through the database they discover Daniyal Khan (Saif Ali Khan) fit to go on this mission.

Daniyal Khan is an ex-army officer who was kicked out of the army due to a tragic incident. Daniyal somehow agrees to go on this mission in order to earn his respect back. Daniyal goes on this mission with a completely new identity and executes the four big masterminds behind the Mumbai attacks one by one.

Daniyal Khan’s strategy and the amount of planning he does to execute these men is something to watch out for.

Katrina Kaif aka Nawaz Mistry is playing the role of a former RAW agent who is currently working as a security counselor and supplies arms to refugee camps. Katrina helps Saif on his mission and lends him support to execute his plans.

Music: The music of the film has been pretty decent with three tracks namely Afghan Jalebi, Saawre, and Nachda. Out of which Afghan Jalebi is given much prominence with as much as 4 different versions of the song being released. The other two tracks are none the less soothing to the ears and is sure to grab your attention.

Direction: Kabir Khan has done wonders in the industry delivering back to back hits. His work is highly appreciated by his fans. The film has been shot in different parts of India, Lebanon, London, and Canada. His direction has certainly given a Boast to the story.

We wont further reveal the whole story to kill your excitement.

This is definitely a masterpiece created by Kabir Khan and is a movie worth watching. Especially, for those with love for action thrillers. However, It will not surpass the magic Kabir Khan created with Bajrangi Bhaijaan, but it is more likely to keep you at the edge of your seats throughout the Movie.
