Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor’s Fitoor earns Rs. 3.61 cr on day one

Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur starrer ‘Fitoor’ that is based on Charles Dickens classic tale ‘Great Expectations’ has not been able to impress the audience much. The Abhishek Kapoor directorial has managed to collect a meager Rs. 3.61 crore on the first day of its release.

Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif who both are in a need of a hit had been promoting the film on major platforms. They indulged in dancing at colleges, shopping at local markets, interacting with the media and also made their presence felt on most of the popular shows on Indian television.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the day one figures. He tweeted:

He further added that,

‘Fitoor’ stars Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapur and Tabu in pivotal roles and has clashed with Divya Khola Kumar’s Sanam Re at the box office. Let us wait and watch which movie fares better at the box office over the weekend.
